It’s about reliving surf sessions, showcasing ocean-inspired brands,
celebrating special events and capturing the experience of women's retreats by the ocean.
SSS was born from a deep love of the surf lifestyle and a desire to document moments that feel real, warm and full of life. At its core, it’s about people in their element doing what they love and being able to look back on their memories - moments you don’t just look at, but you feel again.
Through a natural eye for light and the small details, Sunshine Surf Sessions creates surf, lifestyle and ocean-inspired photography that captures the feeling of each experience, while helping people feel comfortable and themselves in front of the camera.
Because here, it’s not just about the photos ~ it’s about the feeling.

ABIT ABOUT ME....
I’m a surf, lifestyle and ocean photographer based in Newcastle, Australia, capturing real moments in and around the water. As a female surf photographer and surfer myself, I have a natural understanding of the ocean, surf culture and the people I photograph.
Growing up on the east coast of Australia, I’ve always been surrounded by the beach, early mornings and anything that involves being outdoors. The ocean has been a constant in my life, and you’ll usually find me off on an adventure, near the water and soaking up the sun.
I’ve spent most of my adult life travelling and living abroad. I’m passionate about meeting and connecting with new people, hearing their stories, sharing laughs and building genuine relationships through shared experiences.
My travels have given me a deep appreciation for different cultures and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way. Life is all about experiences, and I’m always excited for the next adventure.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN....
Photography has always been a passion of mine and a way of slowing down moments and practicing the art of noticing. I love to capture the beauty of moments, places & people.
My love for surf photography began during a trip to Fiji, where I received my first-ever surf photos. Seeing myself in the water doing something I loved was such a special feeling and being able to relive those moments of pure joy and happiness means so much to me. It completely changed the way I saw photography because I now could feel the moment again when looking back at the photos.
It sparked a passion in me and I instantly knew I wanted to capture those same moments for other people, so they could experience that same feeling I had been so blessed to. That’s where Sunshine Surf Sessions was born.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to capturing surf sessions, ocean-inspired brands, retreats, events and the moments that make life by the ocean so special
MY WHY...
Receiving those photos showed me just how powerful photography can be. A single image has the ability to take you straight back to a moment, a feeling, or a memory you never want to forget.
That’s why I do what I do. I want people to be able to relive the joy of a perfect wave, the excitement of an early morning surf, the beauty of a sunrise, or the special feeling that comes from seeing themselves through a different lens.
MY APPROACH....
My approach is relaxed, natural, and people-focused ~ I’m not about stiff posing or forced moments. I’m about movement, connection and real energy.
I want people to feel comfortable in front of my camera, to forget they’re even being photographed and to simply enjoy the experience. Some of the best images come from the in-between moments ~ the laughter, the wipeouts, the quiet pauses and the golden light that surrounds them, transforming an ordinary moment into something special.
And that’s what Sunshine Surf Sessions is all about.

I’ve lived in 4 different countries ~ most of them in the snow and mountains and I spent 5 winter seasons snowboarding

I’ll always say yes to a sunrise or sunset mission because I get way too excited about the colours in the sky and the way the light turns and ordinary moment into something special

I’ve hiked to Everest Base Camp and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had and something I’ll always be proud of
I’ve surfed in 8 different countries and I’m always dreaming about the next place the ocean will take me
